「そのとき、あなたは、何を着てた？〜What Were You Wearing？〜」
性暴力サバイバーの方の体験をもとに当時の服装を再現するインスタレーション。
海外の大学などでは実施されてきましたが日本では初開催となり、Sisterでは展示用の衣服の収集と展示協力をさせていただきます。
11/22には展示に先駆けて臨床心理士のみたらし加奈さんによる講演会も開催されます。 ご来場お待ちしています。

上智大学にて、展示会「そのとき、あなたは、何を着てた？～What Were You Wearing？～」を開催します。What Were You Wearing？とは、米国の倫理学者メリー・シマリングが、レイプ被害に遭った自分の体験を書いた「What I was wearing（私が着ていたもの)」という詩をヒントに始まったアート・インスタレーションです。「挑発的な服装をした若い女性が性暴力被害に遭う」という先入観をなくし、性暴力とその二次被害を防ぎ、「あなたは悪くない」というメッセージを届けることが目的です。2014年にアメリカのアルカンザス大学で行われて以来、全米の大学やヨーロッパの各地で実施されており、日本では初開催となります。

What Were You Wearing?

The art installation was inspired by "What I was wearing" , a poem written by Dr. Mary Simmerling about her own experience of being a victim of rape. It features narratives and re-creations of clothing items that survivors of sexual assault were wearing, based on their descriptions of the experience.
The aim of this art installation is to challenge the preconception that provocative clothes invite sexual assault, to prevent sexual violence and its secondary damage, while delivering the message "It's not your fault."
Since it was held at the University of Arkansas (the US) in 2014, the exhibition has been carried out at universities across the United States and in various parts of Europe. This event will be the first time that the exhibition is held in Japan.
